The Opportunity: 2024 Youth for Biosecurity Fellowship
The 2024 Youth for Biosecurity Fellowship is not just a mere workshop; it's a journey of exploration, learning, and collaboration. Spanning from June 5th to July 5th, 2024, this online workshop comprises weekly sessions, each lasting approximately two to three hours. Participants will engage in a collaborative project to be presented to the Biological Weapons Convention Implementation Support Unit in August 2024. Additionally, an online briefing by the Implementation Support Unit will take place in July/August 2024, followed by a five-day field visit to Geneva from August 19th to 23rd, 2024, coinciding with the meetings of the Biological Weapons Convention Implementation Support Unit.

Open to individuals from all corners of the globe, the fellowship welcomes applications from aspiring changemakers passionate about biosecurity diplomacy. Applicants must:

  • Be under 35 years of age at the time of application.
